Qualifications

• Possession of an active Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licence.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal penalty points.
• IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred, or extensive hands-on experience with MOT licence.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset and customer service focus.
• Ability to work flexibly and cover occasional Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all aspects of MOT testing in accordance with government standards.
• Support customers through the MOT process with updates and advice on required work.
• Diagnose and carry out associated vehicle repairs and servicing where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of testing and service activities.
• Liaise effectively with team members to ensure smooth workshop workflow.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications such as IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred, or extensive hands-on experience in vehicle mechanics with a valid MOT licence

• Ability to work flexibly within the established working hours, with willingness to cover occasional Saturday shifts
