Job summary

Attega Group Ltd is recruiting a HGV Reactive Tanker Drainage Engineer to support the Reactive and Remedials Teams on site near Rainham. The role is full-time and permanent, with a 08:00 start and overtime paid at 1.5x.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and have drainage experience. You will carry out descale works, grease trap emptying, tanker extraction, and work alongside CCTV and drainage teams to survey, inspect and troubleshoot sites while maintaining strict health

Qualifications

Must hold Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
Previous drainage experience.
Full-time, permanent role. On-site start at 08:00.
DBS checks may be required; drug testing policies observed.

Responsibilities

Carrying out descale works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry.
Emptying external grease traps.
Extensive tanker extraction works to foul and surface water systems, pump stations, and interceptors.
Support CCTV & Drainage teams with surveys, inspections and fault finding.
Assist drainage teams with clearance and blockage work as emergencies arise.
Support pumps teams with foul/surface water pump station works.
Ensure proper tipping and waste disposal procedures.
