Job summary

Metcor Environmental Ltd is seeking a full-time HGV Reactive Tanker Drainage Engineer to join our team on day or night shifts. You will travel to sites in London and home counties to support reactive and remedial drainage work using vacuum tankers.

Responsibilities include descaling, line cleaning, root cutting, and working with CCTV/drainage teams. Pre-employment checks apply; DBS and drug testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 or Class 2 license.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Health and safety conscious with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out descaling works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
• Emptying of external grease traps.
• Extensive tanker extraction works to foul and surface water systems, pump stations, and flood issues on sites.
• Supporting CCTV & drainage teams with surveys, inspections and fault finding to support client needs.
• Assisting drainage and pumps teams with clearance, blockage works and emergency responses.
• Ensuring correct tipping and waste disposal procedures are followed.
