Job summary

15Hatfields in London is seeking a confident sales professional to cover a fixed-term maternity period as a Sales Executive. The role focuses on reactive sales, handling incoming enquiries, building relationships with corporate clients and agencies, and driving conversions from enquiry to confirmed bookings.

You will manage the full sales cycle, maintain CRM records, and work with the venue team to ensure smooth handover of bookings for events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales-focused role, ideally within events, hospitality, venues, hotels or a similar commercial environment.
• Strong track record of managing incoming enquiries and converting leads into confirmed business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, engaging and professional telephone manner.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of incoming event enquiries across telephone, email, website and other sales channels.
• Respond to enquiries promptly, professionally and with a strong commercial focus.
• Qualify leads effectively, understanding client requirements, budgets, expectations and booking potential.
• Prepare accurate, engaging and commercially competitive proposals and quotations.
• Conduct confident, engaging venue showrounds that maximise booking opportunities.
• Follow up on enquiries consistently and strategically to maximise conversion.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract and booking confirmation.
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through additional services, upgrades and enhancements.
