Job summary

Platinum Resourcing (UK) Limited is seeking an Events Sales Executive near Maidenhead. You will support clients from their initial enquiry and appointment through to confirmation and ongoing account management.

This is a full‑time, Monday–Friday role with occasional evening and weekend work. The ideal candidate will have strong B2C sales and hospitality/travel experience, delivering excellent customer service and coordinating diaries and CRM records.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or premium consumer background is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to build rapport quickly and stay organized.
• Motivated to achieve sales objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Calm and professional in difficult conversations.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel; CRM helpful.
• Own transport due to location.

Responsibilities

• Understand services and explain options to clients.
• Identify client requirements and guide decisions.
• Conduct in-person and virtual client appointments.
• Support events and client-facing activities.
• Respond promptly to enquiries by phone, email, and chat.
• Maintain relationships with confirmed clients.
• Coordinate client diaries and record appointments.
• Update CRM and client documentation.
• Work with operations to align expectations.
• Monitor progress against sales objectives.
• Suggest service and process improvements.
• Provide support to colleagues as needed.
