Job summary

Boughey Logistics is recruiting Reach Truck Operatives for the Wardle/Nantwich site on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm. You will operate reach trucks, check stock, locate and move goods, and dispatch orders in a safe, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck; refresher courses available if license expired or held in-house.
• Able to stand and lift for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Trucks in a safe and compliant manner.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Replenish stock locations.
• Dispatch goods to customers.
• Complete paperwork and documents as required.
• Receive and store products from suppliers safely.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site across a number of different teams working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm. Our Reach Truck Operatives work across a range of duties including but not limited to checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.

Day to Day

• Operating Reach Trucks in a safe and compliant manner.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Replenishing stock locations.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Companys Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck: refresher courses can be provided if your license is expired or was held only in house!
• Comfortable on your feet this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
