Marchant Recruitment is seeking a thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher for a community-focused secondary school in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. This full-time, temporary role starts ASAP and offers the MPS/UPS pay scale dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will teach RE across KS3 and KS4, plan enquiries, foster respectful discussions, assess learning and provide feedback, while collaborating with humanities colleagues to deliver an engaging curriculum.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Secure RE subject knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate respectful discussions on challenging topics.
• Builds positive relationships and maintains consistent expectations.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsabilités

• Teach RE across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan lessons that encourage enquiry, discussion and independent thought.
• Help students analyse religious beliefs, philosophical perspectives and ethical issues.
• Assess learning and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with humanities colleagues to deliver a coherent curriculum.
