Job summary

Think Education Partners is recruiting an RE Teacher for a maternity cover position at a Suffolk secondary school, teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4. Start date: December or January. Salary: MPS to UPS, dependent on experience.

This is a flexible interim role with the possibility to work full‑time or part‑time, depending on the school's needs. You will plan engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and help pupils explore beliefs and perspectives with care.

Qualifications

• UK teaching experience is essential.
• Ideally holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Can confidently teach RE across KS3 and KS4.

Think Education Partners is recruiting an RE Teacher for a maternity cover position at a secondary school in Suffolk, teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an interim role, with flexibility to consider either full time or part time working depending on the individual.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, encourage thoughtful discussion and support pupils in developing their understanding of different beliefs, values and perspectives. You will assess progress and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of pupils across both key stages.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has UK teaching experience, which is essential.
• Ideally holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Can confidently teach RE across KS3 and KS4.
• Brings enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to helping pupils achieve.
