Empowering Learning are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Salford to recruit an enthusiastic QTS RE Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026.

You will deliver engaging RE lessons to KS3 and KS4, foster a positive learning environment, assess pupil progress, and collaborate with a supportive department. The contract runs through Christmas with a strong possibility of extension or permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Location: Salford

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:00pm

Duration: September 2026 to Christmas 2026 Potential Extension / Permanent Opportunity

Pay: 160- 225 per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Salford to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS RE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive RE department from September through to Christmas, with the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education (RE) lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of different religious and philosophical perspectives.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for RE and inspiring young people.
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students through thought-provoking and inclusive teaching.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering your recent employment.
• The right to work in the UK.
