  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge of religious studies, ethics and philosophy

  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Commitment to raising attainment and student achievement
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Milk Education are working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Barnet to appoint an inspiring RE Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate RE Teacher to join a thriving Humanities department and help students develop an understanding of religion, philosophy, ethics and the diverse beliefs that shape modern society.

The successful RE Teacher will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage discussion, critical thinking and respectful debate. As an RE Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students to explore moral, ethical and cultural issues while developing the analytical skills needed for academic success.

The Role:
  • Planning and delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Working as an RE Teacher to develop students' understanding of world religions, ethics and philosophy

Essential Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • Recent experience teaching Religious Education within UK secondary schools
