Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced RE Teacher for a secondary school in St Albans. You will plan and deliver Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, develop pupils' knowledge of beliefs, practices and ethical issues, and help pupils articulate arguments with evidence.

You will assess progress, adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs, and support GCSE preparation. The role requires QTS and secondary RE experience, with a confident, inclusive approach to sensitive topics

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Experience teaching RE at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE requirements.
• Ability to manage discussions on sensitive subjects.

Pay: 180- 250 per day, depending on experience

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced RE Teacher for a secondary school in St Albans.

This role suits a Religious Education specialist who can lead thoughtful discussion, strengthen pupils' written arguments and make complex religious and ethical questions accessible. You'll encourage pupils to explore different perspectives while maintaining a respectful, focused classroom.
