Lyreco is seeking a Regional Distribution Centre Assistant Logistics Manager in Doncaster to ensure reliable customer delivery service. The role involves leading a team, coordinating delivery operations, and providing coverage for holidays and sickness.

The ideal candidate will hold a full driving licence with minimal penalty points, have knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations, and be highly organized, flexible and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Must be a people manager with ability to train and develop others.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and flexible to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage delivery operations and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained as per manufacturers’ recommendations and legal requirements.
• Establish and maintain personnel files for RDC staff and keep records up to date.
• Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings, with minutes.
• Instruct drivers on operations, procedures, quality and security.
• Cover delivery routes for holidays, sickness and high volume drops.
