Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer for a major civils and build energy project in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on setting out, RC construction and on-site management, with QA documentation and progress monitoring to ensure drawings are followed precisely.

You will work 100% on site, coordinate with subcontractors and delivery teams, and support schedule momentum.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Setting Out / Site Engineer on civil engineering or major construction projects.
• Experience in reinforced concrete (RC) construction.
• Must have Leica TS16 total station proficiency and CSCS card.
• Civil engineering qualification (HND/Degree) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and strong site-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Precise setting out and surveying for RC structures and civils work.
• Quality assurance documentation and monitoring progress against drawings.
• Managing day-to-day site operations for concrete elements.
• Collaborating with site management, subcontractors and delivery teams to maintain schedule momentum.
