Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking a Reinforced (RC) Frame Site Engineer with own kit to lead setting-out and surveying on a large civils site in Teesside. You will read structural drawings, supervise reinforcement inspections, and ensure QA/ITP compliance.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, UK site qualifications (CSCS, SSSTS, First Aid) and at least 4 years of RC frame and groundworks experience. You’ll work with site managers to maintain schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RC Frame and groundworks experience – minimum 4 years UK site engineering experience, focusing on reinforced concrete frames, foundations, drainage and groundworks

Responsibilities

• Setting Out & Surveying: Establishing accurate lines, levels, and datums for foundations, columns, walls, and slabs using total stations and GNSS equipment.
• Reinforcement Inspections: Checking steel bar sizes, spacing, lap lengths, anchorage, couplers, and concrete cover against structural drawings before a pour.
• Formwork & Temporary Works: Inspecting formwork alignment, stability, cast-in items, and construction joints.
• Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing: Overseeing concrete grade compliance, slump/cube testing, and maintaining Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Pour Supervision: Monitoring concrete placement, compaction, finishing, and curing protocols.
• Coordination & Documentation: Liaising with site managers, structural designers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries (RFQs/RIs) and maintain as-built records.
