Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major RC Frame project. You will lead setting-out and surveying, check levels, and coordinate with site managers and subcontractors to ensure drawings are followed.

Requires 4+ years UK site experience, RC Frame background, Total Station proficiency, and a valid CSCS card. Start date within 2 weeks on a long-term freelance basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' UK site engineering experience.
• Proven RC Frame / reinforced concrete project experience.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• Competent with Total Station / surveying equipment.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with site teams.
• CSCS required.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works accurately
• Checking dimensions, levels and line
• Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors
• Monitoring works against drawings and specifications
• Maintaining accurate site records
• Carrying out quality checks and resolving technical issues
• Supporting the successful delivery of the RC Frame package
