Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Luton is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong RC Frame background to lead a long-term construction project. You will oversee the project from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-program delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

The role offers an immediate start and a long-term assignment with a well-established contractor. Competitive rate depending on experience and qualifications will be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Strong RC Frame experience is essential
• Experience working for a subcontractor
• Solid understanding of RC Frame construction, sequencing and project delivery
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes and project management processes
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
• Managing the day-to-day construction activities and site operations
• Planning, programming and coordinating works to ensure the project remains on programme
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site teams and suppliers
• Liaising closely with the client, consultants, engineers and wider project team
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any delays or issues
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information
• Managing project documentation, progress reports and site records
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standards
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements
• Attending meetings with the client and project team
• Assisting with commercial and contractual matters where required
• Identifying and resolving issues efficiently to keep the project moving
