Job summary

OCS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major RC Frame project in Luton for a well-established specialist contractor. You will be responsible for delivering safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will manage site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, coordinate with client and commercial teams, and drive progress while maintaining health, safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

OCS are currently working with a well-established specialist contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead a major RC Frame project in Luton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong reputation across reinforced concrete, structural frame and associated construction projects.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, working closely with the site team, client and supply chain to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overall management and delivery of the RC Frame project.
• Managing site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Planning and programming works to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Working closely with the commercial team to monitor project costs and performance.
• Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with health & safety requirements.
• Managing quality, programme and project documentation.
• Coordinating works across multiple trades and stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving project issues efficiently.
• Providing regular progress updates to senior management.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience on RC Frame projects.
• Ideally come form an engineering background
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• A strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
