Job summary

JRL Group in Birmingham is recruiting a Project Manager to lead site activities on landmark construction projects in the city centre. You will manage the project schedule, costs, and contract terms, ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met and aligned with the programme.

You'll oversee on-site teams, preparation and negotiation of project agreements, obtain permits, and report on progress while driving value, quality and timely delivery on complex RC frame and substructure

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS are required; 1st aid advantageous.
• Trade background or construction degree preferred.
• Experience with RC frame and basement packages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project in detail to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Prepare and negotiate terms of project agreements; clarify scope and limits.
• Obtain permits and licenses; ensure safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee on-site work per programme, on budget and on time.
• Lead site team; stay highly organized and compliant.
• Develop health and safety docs and method statements.
• Report project progress, costs, and exceptions.
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator for designs and permits.
