Job summary

Greencore Group is seeking a Raw Material Quality Auditor for a 6-month FTC at our Bo'ness site. The role focuses on ensuring quality for incoming materials, supplier compliance, and maintaining traceability across packaging and raw materials.

You will conduct audits, monitor KPIs, and drive corrective actions while upholding QMS, GMP, and HACCP standards in a fast-paced, site-based environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems and raw material assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Confidence conducting audits and applying QMS, GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to assess raw materials and packaging against specifications with accuracy.
• Experience managing supplier non-conformances and root cause analysis.
• Analytical skills to monitor KPIs and identify trends.
• Clear communication when working with internal teams and suppliers.
• Hands-on, practical approach with a strong presence in operational environments.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assessing incoming raw materials and packaging against specifications and approved supplier standards.
• Communicating out-of-specification materials promptly to minimise operational impact.
• Maintaining accurate, real-time records and identifying anomalies in documentation.
• Conducting scheduled and ad-hoc sampling, reporting results and following corrective actions to closure.
• Monitoring and improving KPI performance, supporting investigations and audits.
• Participating in internal, customer and group technical audits to ensure compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP.
• Identifying and escalating non-conformances, recommending improvements and reducing recurring issues.
• Managing supplier interactions, ensuring non-conformances are addressed and root causes resolved.
• Investigating customer complaints, maintaining traceability and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Promoting health, safety and compliance, reporting hazards and supporting continuous improvement.
