Newly Weds Foods in Banbury is seeking a procurement professional to coordinate the purchase and availability of all raw materials, balancing MOQ, inbound capacity and production demand while minimising waste and cost.

You will make day-to-day purchasing decisions, monitor orders, and liaise with Purchasing, CI and RTIS teams to ensure continuity of supply and excellent service across the plant.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the purchase and availability of all raw materials.
• Make day-to-day purchasing and expediting decisions within stock parameters.
• Monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time, in-full delivery at the agreed price.
• Identify shortages and escalate issues to minimise production disruption.
• Liaise with Purchasing, CI Team and RTIS on sourcing new materials.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to resolve problems and improve service.
• Coordinate with production, scheduling and customer service to avoid delays.
• Compile and update Goods In Booking In forms for inbound.
• Resolve invoice queries with Accounts and Purchasing.
• Highlight data discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
• Ensure prompt return of unusable stock to suppliers; monitor supplier performance.
