Job summary

Morrisons in the UK is seeking a Raw Material Planner for Top Fruit and Grapes to own the end-to-end supply plan with the Buying Manager and growers, ensuring products reach customers at the right moment.

You will plan seasonal fruit ranges UK and worldwide, collaborate with demand planning and growers, manage stock, waste, and KPI meetings, and monitor forecasts vs orders.

Qualifications

• A track record of planning fresh produce categories within retail or wholesale.
• A hawkeye for data, you're fluent in sales curves, WSSI/OTB and root cause analysis.
• Confidence in negotiating, with the ability to secure availability and value during peak season pressure.
• A passion for produce and sustainability, that's contagious to suppliers and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control seasonal fruit ranges across the UK and the rest of the world.
• Collaborate with fruit demand planning and growers to deliver on time and in full.
• Manage stock, availability, waste/shrink and markdowns for all products.
• Partner with growers and internal teams to protect quality and freshness.
• Regularly meet with fruit grower/supplier base for daily order planning.
• Monitor forecasts versus actual orders and contribute to long-term planning.
• Set up supplier KPI meetings and monitor performance with the Buying Manager.
• Keep planning administration up to date and accessible for the team.
