Responsibilities

• Identify issues affecting order fulfilment and escalate promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with the Account Manager to ensure priorities.
• Maximise returns by monitoring stock, orders and price lists.
• Collaborate with PH Management to optimise grader set-ups and pack line performance.
• Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed across departments.

Job description

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Planning Department for the UK's leading fruit grower, delivering a complete service in fresh produce. You will ensure the timely completion of daily tasks, accurate processing of customer orders, and effective stock allocation, while maintaining Compliance and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders accurately and promptly
• Allocate stock in line with customer specifications, receipt cards and internal procedures
• Support Production, PH, QC and Despatch teams by providing accurate information relating to orders, customer programmes and stock availability
• Complete all daily tasks as allocated by the Account Manager
• Identify potential issues that may affect order fulfilment and escalated them to the Account Manager in a timely manner
• Maintain regular communication with the Account Manager to ensure priorities and customer requirements are met
• Ensure optimum utilisation of fruit by monitoring stock levels, customer orders, specifications and price lists, maximising returns for both FWM and third-party suppliers.
• Work closely with PH Management to optimise grader set‑ups and pack line performance, ensuring fruit is graded and packed to meet market requirements and maximise value.
• Ensure stock rotation procedures are consistently followed across all departments, including Warehouse and Packing Operations.
