Job summary

Myton Food Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Raw Material Planner for Top Fruit and Grapes to own the end-to-end supply plan in collaboration with the Buying Manager and our growers. You will coordinate with demand planning and internal teams to ensure timely, in-full delivery while safeguarding quality and sustainability.

You will also lead meetings with growers, monitor forecasts against orders, and drive stock availability and cost-effective sourcing across Myton sites and remote

Qualifications

• Track record of planning fresh produce categories within retail or wholesale.
• Fluent in data analysis and sales curves (WSSI/OTB) and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control seasonal fruit ranges across the UK and globally, for finished goods or raw materials.
• Collaborate with fruit demand planning and growers to deliver on time and in full.
• Manage stock, availability, waste/shrink and markdowns for all products.
• Protect quality, freshness and sustainability through to customers.
• Hold regular meetings with growers and internal teams as the main planning contact.
• Monitor forecasts vs actual orders and contribute to long-term forecasting.
• Set up supplier KPI meetings and monitor performance.
• Keep planning administration up to date and share with the Myton Produce Team.

Job description

As our Raw Material Planner for Top Fruit and Grapes, you’ll own the end to end supply plan hand in hand with the Buying Manager and our brilliant growers, you’ll make sure the right products reach the right customers at the perfect moment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Plan and control seasonal fruit ranges across the UK and the rest of the world. This could be finished goods or raw materials both on Myton manufacturing sites and remote grower/supplier locations
• Work in collaboration with fruit demand planning and our grower base to deliver on time and in full
• Work in collaboration with internal teams to manage stock, availability, waste/shrink and markdowns for all the products
• Partner with growers and internal teams to protect quality, freshness and sustainability all the way through to our customers
• Alongside the Buying Manager, have regular meetings with all the fruit grower/supplier base and be the main point of contact for daily order planning
• Work closely with the demand planning role in fruit to monitor forecasts versus actual orders and look at long term forecasting for all our growers, to be shared in regular review meetings
• Work with the Buying Manager to set up supplier KPI meetings and regularly monitor performance
• Make sure all planning administration is up to date and easily shared and understood by the wider Myton Produce Team

• A track record of planning fresh produce categories within retail or wholesale
• A hawkeye for data, you’re fluent in sales curves, WSSI/OTB and root cause analysis
• Confidence in negotiating, with the ability to secure availability and value during peak season pressure
• A passion for produce and sustainability, that’s contagious to suppliers and customer teams
