Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management in London seeks a Rating Analyst to perform credit analysis across asset classes, maintain internal ratings, and run stress tests. You will document methodologies and collaborate with Portfolio Management, Investments, Compliance/Legal, and Operations to ensure robust risk analytics.

Ideal candidates have a finance degree, 2–3 years in credit rating, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• CPA or CFA progress is an asset.
• 2-3 years of credit rating experience at a rating agency, insurer, or other financial institution.
• Insurance sector experience and familiarity with insurance reporting is an asset.
• Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication; collaborative at all levels.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
