Job summary

MUVE Healthcare is recruiting highly experienced Support Workers to join our Rapid Response Team. This full-time, shift-based role handles mobilising new complex care packages for young people aged 14+ with complex needs, including behaviours that challenge.

Travel up to 100 miles may be required on short notice. The role involves days, nights and weekends across multiple locations, with a focus on safe mobilisation, risk reduction and PBS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience within complex care/support environments.
• Experience with young people aged 14+ with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Current PMVA, DMI or equivalent physical intervention training.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support mobilisation of new and emergency care packages for young people.
• Provide direct support to young people aged 14+ with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Support young people who may present with physical aggression, property damage, absconding and self-harm.
• Work with MDT to ensure safe mobilisation and ongoing stability.
• Help stabilise existing care packages and reduce risks.
• Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice.
• Build positive relationships with young people while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assist young people to access communities and achieve personal goals.
• Complete accurate care records and incident reports.
