We are seeking community support workers to be based in Eastbourne, Crawley, Brighton, or Worthing. The role involves supporting mental health professionals in their duties, including carrying out person-centred assessments and developing care plans during mental health crises, which may occur via telephone, virtually, or 'at scene'.

The support worker's role includes driving mental health professionals to locations, providing basic first aid if needed, supporting carers at the scene, and assisting with administrative tasks before and after interventions.
We provide mental health and learning disability care across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire, offering a range of picturesque, urban, and accessible locations.
Our organization is rated 'good' overall and 'outstanding' for caring by the CQC. Our staff survey shows 82% recognize that patient care is our top priority.
Refer to the full job description. A full driving license is required, along with competence and willingness to drive across the Trust site in the provided vehicle. You will support practitioners, work with patients, families, and carers, and collaborate with emergency services and other teams.
