Patient First seeks a dedicated laboratory technician to deliver rapid, accurate lab results while adhering to safety and quality protocols. You will follow specimen handling procedures, support nurses and physicians, and maintain meticulous quality control records in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities include electronic ordering of supplies, collaborating with medical staff, and ensuring a positive, professional patient experience across centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of laboratory principles and waived testing.
• Ability to produce rapid, reliable lab results during high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and rapid lab results with proper procedures and safety.
• Follow specimen collection, handling, processing, and reporting procedures.
• Notify nurse/physician when patient is ready and relay lab/x-ray needs.
• Maintain quality control documentation under on-duty lab technician.
• Order lab, x-ray, and medical supplies electronically.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care as needed.
• Foster teamwork and provide friendly service.
