Job summary

Rail Delivery Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead Traincrew workstreams within the Traincrew Programme. You will ensure delivery on time, cost and quality, coordinating across senior leaders and industry partners to realise benefits.

The role focuses on governance, stakeholder engagement and proactive reporting, with a strong emphasis on planning, organisation and collaborative delivery in a complex rail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering programmes/projects, with Prince2 or MS Project experience.
• Rail industry experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan to deliver the requirements of the Traincrew workstreams, in line with industry requirements.
• Management of delivery to the plan in line with the identified project plan.
• Project monitoring and tracking of activity, risks and issues in line with RDG governance.
• Identify key stakeholders for the project in line with the Traincrew Programme’s plan.
• Work with project stakeholders to ensure adequate development and adoption of outputs.
• Coordinating and attending working group and steering group sessions.
• Provide regular written and verbal reports back to governance and stakeholder groups.
