Rail Delivery Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead Traincrew workstreams within the Traincrew Programme. You will ensure delivery on time, cost and quality, coordinating across senior leaders and industry partners to realise benefits.
The role focuses on governance, stakeholder engagement and proactive reporting, with a strong emphasis on planning, organisation and collaborative delivery in a complex rail environment.

This role is to project manage several workstreams, as part of the wider Traincrew Programme an industry programme to support best practice in traincrew resourcing. To help deliver improvements to how the industry manages and delivers traincrew resourcing. Focusing on the delivery of workstreams to help the industry achieve the long term driver strategy. To support the subject matter experts in ensuring the outputs of the project are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with industry requirements.
This role is accountable for successfully project management of the Traincrew workstreams. The role aims to put the structures in place for the project to meet its objectives and crucially delivers the benefits it sets out to achieve. The role is in part accountable for the realisation of these benefits, in partnership with the programme lead and the recipients of the change.
This is a cross industry role that should be able to work with senior leaders to front line staff.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record on the management of programmes/projects qualified with relevant system such as Prince2 or MSProject and ideally someone who has rail industry experience, but not essential.
