Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced electrical design professional to contribute to rail and built environment projects. The role focuses on delivering outline and detailed designs, ensuring multi-disciplinary integration and compliance with safety and client requirements.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external engineers, driving design quality and engineering excellence while supporting professional growth within the SYSTRA group in the UK.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure.
• Experience using industry-wide software for electrical calculations.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary issues in railway lineside systems and/or built environment.
• Qualification: HNC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed design for multi- or single-disciplinary projects.
• Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.
• Interface with other disciplines and 3rd parties to ensure multidisciplinary design.
• Report updates to senior engineers and project management on progress.
• Apply procedures to ensure safe design lifecycle for staff and others.
• Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement.
• Continue professional development with support from SYSTRA.
• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with SYSTRA's framework.
