Job summary

Ferrovial Construction in Birmingham leads the HS2 Lot 3 Track North programme and seeks a Project Manager to deliver railhead infrastructure and track installation. You will coordinate planning, procurement, and field operations along the route, ensuring compliance with HS2 standards and JV procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and a hands-on approach to deliver safety, quality and timely handover.

Qualifications

Experience delivering major rail infrastructure or track systems.
Leadership of multidisciplinary teams across complex projects.
Strong planning, forecasting and change control capability.
Commercial and contractual knowledge including NEC framework.
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; chartered status desirable.
Recognised project management qualification (APM/PRINCE2) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of railhead infrastructure and track installation for Lot 3 Birmingham Spur.
Establish execution strategy, delivery plan and governance arrangements.
Manage resources, subcontractors, procurement, and interfaces across design, procurement, construction, logistics, testing and commissioning.
Oversee safety, programme, cost, quality and environmental targets with corrective actions as needed.
Lead testing, commissioning, handover activities and documentation to closure.
