Job summary

Millenium Site Services in Derby is seeking an experienced Welder to join its internal engineering team at the Head Office. The role covers MIG welding to engineering specifications, reading technical drawings, and performing fabrication and fit-up.

You will inspect welds to required standards, complete quality documentation, and work to strict health and safety rules. This full-time, Monday-to-Friday role offers PAYE benefits and genuine progression opportunities within a growing rail-focused

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience in regulated environments is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Own PPE and tools where applicable.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding of components and sub-assemblies to engineering specifications.
• Reading from technical drawings and WPS to guide welds.
• Fabrication, fit-up and rectification of metal components.
• Carrying out visual inspection of welds to required quality standards.
• Completing quality documentation and sign-off records accurately.
• Adhering to health & safety and quality standards at all times.
