Job summary

Aureos seeks a Track Support Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, and operational support for railway track infrastructure in Glasgow and surrounding sites. You will lead delivery teams, coordinate with managers, supervise depot operations, and ensure safety and engineering standards are met.

Applicants should have at least 7 years in track maintenance or related fields, with 3 years in a leadership role, and hold knowledge of track components, drawings, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in railway track maintenance, construction, or engineering with 3+ years in supervision.
• Deep knowledge of track components, methods, safety regulations, and standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Track Delivery Teams including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Track Delivery Managers to ensure safe, efficient daily production.
• Oversee depot and site compounds operations and inventories.
• Inspect track infrastructure to identify defects and repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policy, and engineering standards.
• Prepare reports on track conditions, maintenance, and resource use.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize service disruptions.
• Implement and monitor quality control for track activities.
