Network Rail in London – Clapham is seeking a safety‑driven Technician - Track Maintenance to support the Team Leader, organise work, and help keep critical rail assets in top condition. You’ll inspect tracks, diagnose faults, and conduct renewals while sometimes leading the team. A strong commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning and implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong team player with ability to embed safety culture.
• Knowledge of track maintenance techniques, including inspection, faulting and renewal.
• Relevant competencies or willingness to achieve them; NVQ Level 1/2 or equivalent.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to drive.

Responsabilités

• Deliver work safely and efficiently in line with approved systems and procedures.
• Inspect track assets, diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and renewal work.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and report work clearly.
