Network Rail in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Eastern Region. You will maintain, inspect, and repair the track network to keep the railway safe and efficient for passengers and freight.

The role emphasizes transferable skills, safety leadership, and clear communication. Training will be provided; there is potential on-call time for standard maintenance contracts.

Formación

• Experience of arranging and implementing safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of permanent way inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal techniques.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out work safely and in accordance with the safe systems of work procedures and instructions.
• Undertake work and duties for which you are trained and competent.
• Direct work activities in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with standards.
• Check that assets are compliant to standards and report progress.
• Lead and motivate a team, ensuring contractor safety.
