Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a motivated Technician (Off Track) to join the Feltham Maintenance Depot. You will support the team by inspecting, maintaining and renewing off-track assets, while promoting safety and delivering high standards of workmanship.

You'll work to plan safe methods of work, lead when required, and maintain records. A valid driving licence and NVQ Level 1/2 (or equivalent) are preferred, with generous leave, pension and flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and implementing safe systems of work.
• Team player with a strong safety culture.
• Knowledge of off-track maintenance techniques including vegetation management and drainage.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to drive.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work safely and efficiently in line with approved systems, standards, and procedures.
• Carry out inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding on off-track assets such as drainage, fencing, vegetation, and other infrastructure.
• Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are fit for use and properly maintained.
• Accurately report completed work and maintain essential records.
