Job summary

MOTT MACDONALD is seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to provide leadership in technical projects. The role emphasizes operational telecoms, requiring over 12 years of experience and extensive knowledge in SCADA and telecom systems.

Working a minimum of 3 days a week from your local office, successful candidates will engage in all phases of project life cycles while collaborating with diverse technical teams, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council UK or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of UK Rail Industry and Telecoms engineering codes of practice.
• Experience in design assurance and multidisciplinary delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as CRE on Network Rail projects.
• Lead design teams on SCADA, PLC, and telecom systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards and manage design documentation.
