Job summary

MOTT MACDONALD is seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to provide engineering leadership across multiple projects in the UK. This role emphasizes the requirement of a Chartered Engineer with substantial knowledge of SCADA and operational telecoms.

The ideal candidate will lead design teams, manage compliance standards, and collaborate with various technical disciplines. Strong communication and report writing skills are essential, alongside an excellent understanding of UK Rail Industry standards.

This position is available on a flexible working model of at least three days a week in local offices such as London and Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with Engineering Council UK or equivalent.
• Experience with Telecoms engineering codes in the UK.
• Proven experience as a Network Rail CRE.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on SCADA and telecom systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards through CAT2 checks.
• Manage design documentation and approvals.
