Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is recruiting a Technical Assurance Engineer to join the HS2 Track Infrastructure project during its initial design phase. The role supports integration of design, access, resources and logistics to ensure safety, cost, quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities include coordinating assurance activities, applying RAMP processes, maintaining the Technical Requirements Baseline, and delivering assurance evidence across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent desirable
• Experience on major multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects
• Experience in technical assurance, systems engineering or requirements management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver technical assurance activities across the project
• Drive resolution of assurance-related issues and support delivery of assurance evidence
• Apply FBRS Requirements and Assurance Management Plan (RAMP) processes
• Maintain Contractor’s Technical Requirements Baseline and manage input requirements
• Support development of system/subsystem requirements through design lifecycle
• Ensure robust V&V processes to demonstrate compliance
• Prepare, track and report assured deliverables, certifications and readiness reviews
• Participate in regular assurance reviews and stage gate packs
