Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Quality Management Lead – Logistics to coordinate equipment, materials and documentation across the supply chain for a major UK infrastructure project. You will oversee delivery readiness, material traceability, inspection/release and transport to site, acting as the main interface between project teams and suppliers.

You will monitor supplier performance, support inspections and drive Right First Time delivery, ensuring manufacturing documentation and EoMR/ECSR/EESR are

Qualifications

• Experience in project logistics, supply chain or project delivery in safety-critical sectors.
• Strong understanding of logistics across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport and construction.
• Experience coordinating equipment delivery, shipment readiness and material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and recovery plans.
• Coordinate logistics interfaces between multiple suppliers and project functions.
• Track equipment status from manufacture to site delivery.
• Support supplier performance reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure logistics requirements are understood by suppliers and contractors.
• Provide regular reporting on readiness, shipments and performance.
