Job summary

Alstom in Brighton is seeking a Project Supply Chain Leader to establish and develop standard processes for the TSGNL project in line with Supply Chain requirements. You will lead material availability, inventory control, and cost management across the depot.

The role focuses on implementing SAP CBOM-driven forecasting, driving efficiency, and overseeing storage, logistics, and governance to optimize spend and performance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing supply chain CBOMs and inventory.
• Understanding of SAP CBOM and materials planning.
• Knowledge of warehousing and logistics.
• Experience managing complex projects and cost control.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the Supply Chain depot team.
• Lead the team in maintaining material availability and delivery of requirements.
• Control project material spend and BTG.
• Drive unplanned material spend down with functions and suppliers.
• Analyze material cost variances and report via TAC model and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate SAP CBOM for forecasting and planning.
• Optimise inventory levels to ensure availability.
• Ensure safe storage of materials and consumables on-site.
• Implement logistics processes to secure the supply base.
• Adhere to perpetual inventory policies and warehouse strategy.
• Develop KPIs to measure performance and drive behaviours.
• Support strategic locations to furnish fleets with materials.
