Job summary

Vital is seeking a proactive Stores Coordinator in Manchester to support OLE operations. You will manage receipt, storage and distribution of materials, ensuring stock accuracy and availability for project teams.

You will perform regular stock checks, coordinate deliveries with suppliers and depots, and maintain records. A UK driving licence and solid IT skills are essential, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in Stores, Warehouse, Logistics, or Inventory Control.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issue and distribution of OLE materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory management systems.
• Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Ensure all materials are stored, handled and distributed in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers, depots and project teams.
• Process delivery notes, goods received documentation and stock transactions.
• Support compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Assist with depot organisation and housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment.
• Liaise closely with project and site teams to meet operational requirements.
