Job summary

Amey is seeking a Construction Manager – Rail Signalling to join the Eastern and Southern team on a site-based role. The position involves supervising signalling construction activities and coordinating with multiple interfaces while regular site attendance is required, including some nights.

You will support the Project Manager in safe, compliant delivery of contracts, ensuring alignment with programme requirements and Amey procedures. A valuable railway project experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering signalling construction projects.
• Ability to read P6 programmes and understand railway planning.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Principal Construction Manager in safe, efficient delivery of contracts.
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities; manage resources, costs and programme.
• Produce risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Provide information to planning teams for accurate site paperwork.
• Prepare resource schedules, Work Packages and permits.
• Supervise sub-contractors and direct labour on site.
