Job summary

Amey is seeking a Permanent Construction Manager - Rail Signalling to lead site supervision on signalling projects in the Eastern and Southern regions, with roles based in Bedford or Doncaster. The role requires regular site attendance, including some nights, to support project delivery and ensure compliance with safety and programme requirements.

Qualifications

Experience delivering signalling construction projects with multidisciplary interfaces (Track, Civils, OLE, E&P, Telecoms).
Ability to read and interpret P6 programmes.
IRSE license is desirable.
Knowledge of CDM and AMP processes.

Responsibilities

Support tenders with methodologies, pricing and programmes for signalling construction works.
Produce risk assessments and implement control measures.
Provide information to planning teams for accurate site paperwork.
Prepare resource schedules, Work Package Plans, task briefs and permits.
Order and receive site deliverables and ensure timely goods receipts.
Submit accurate site records to monitor programme and costs.
Supervise subcontractors, contract staff and direct labour on site.
