SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated SHE Manager to lead health and safety across rail infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards. The role focuses on promoting safe practices and a positive safety culture while supporting growth within the Rail sector.

As part of the Central Team, you will influence H&S outcomes, deliver robust RAMS, investigations, and site inspections, contributing to SOCOTEC’s mission of safer, more sustainable infrastructure nationwide.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification required.
• Proven experience in rail safety and site inspections.
• Knowledge of RAMS development and safety audits.

Responsabilités

• Influence Safety Health and Environmental results across the business, driving change.
• Provide competent health and safety advice to project and site management teams.
• Undertake site inspections, safety tours and audits, identifying hazards and driving corrective actions.
• Support RAMS development, review and implementation, ensuring safe systems of work.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, contributing to root-cause analysis.
• Monitor contractor compliance with statutory, client and company H&S requirements.
• Support toolbox talks, briefings and safety campaigns, promoting a positive safety culture.
• Maintain accurate H&S records and contribute professional H&S input at project/site meetings.
