SOCOTEC is seeking a SHE Manager to join our Central Team and support growth in the Rail sector, applying health and safety leadership across rail infrastructure projects while promoting a positive safety culture.

With proven SHE experience you will provide expert advice, conduct inspections, ensure RAMS compliance, and investigate incidents, helping SOCOTEC deliver safe, compliant projects and grow careers within a market-leading TIC services group.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent recognised health and safety qualification.
• Sentinel card with current Personal Track Safety (PTS) competence.
• Demonstrable practical experience in rail infrastructure, especially Network Rail assets.
• Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015 requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and safety monitoring, and RAMS support.
• Experience in investigating incidents, accidents and near misses.

Responsabilités

• Able to influence Safety Health and Environmental results and drive improvements.
• Provide competent health and safety advice to project and site teams.
• Undertake site inspections, safety tours and audits to identify hazards and take corrective actions.
• Support RAMS development and safe systems of work compliance.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Monitor contractor/supplier H&S compliance and promote safe culture.
• Maintain H&S records and act as CPT input at project meetings.
