  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in safety management or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures in accordance with rail industry standards.
  • Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Providing safety training and education to staff and contractors.
  • Investigating incidents and near–misses to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintaining up–to–date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the rail industry.
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are integrated into all operations.
  • Preparing detailed safety reports and documentation.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
