Job summary

HS2 Ltd is recruiting for a cost management professional to support the Rail Development Directorate. The role involves preparing budgets, monitoring cost performance, and reporting on EVM and forecast costs.

You will work with delivery teams to ensure accurate cost data and adherence to governance processes. This position offers a base salary of £46,406 to £54,595 per year plus a fully pensionable 20% flexible benefits fund on top of base salary, supporting a comprehensive package as part of

Qualifications

• Awareness of cost management within a project lifecycle.
• Understanding of cost control principles and project controls functions.
• Experience designing and maintaining cost and change management reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost activities for the Rail Development Directorate project in PRISM.
• Support analysis and verification of contract cost performance for reporting.
• Assist in development of contract level performance reports (EVM, forecast costs, EAC).
• Ensure compliance with cost performance processes and proper data storage in corporate systems.
• Provide technical cost performance support to Project Managers and supplier reviews.
