Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Rail Plant Engineer in Nottinghamshire for a role that involves maintaining, servicing and fault-finding on road-rail vehicles and specialist rail plant. You will work across Nottinghamshire on sites to ensure equipment stays safe, reliable and operational, with significant overtime potential.

The role requires proven rail plant experience, a valid PTS card, and a safety-focused mindset, with a Monday–Friday pattern and strong earning potential through overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on rail plant or road-rail vehicles.
• Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) card.
• Safety-focused approach with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, repair and fault-find on rail plant and road-rail vehicles.
• Attend sites across Nottinghamshire to ensure machinery is maintained to high standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and perform planned and reactive maintenance.
• Support wider engineering team when required.
