Job summary

Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Rail Plant Engineer to inspect, service and maintain rail plant equipment, with weekend shifts paid at time and a half. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues and complete documentation, while coordinating with rail stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance.

Successful candidates will typically hold an NVQ Level 2 in Plant Engineering, have 3+ years in the field, and hold or be willing to work towards a PTS qualification, with a UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Engineering or equivalent.
• At least three years' industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Rail industry experience preferred.
• PTS qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections, servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Complete accurate documentation and reports.
• Work with clients and rail stakeholders ensuring safety.
